I was a feral kitten. Sometimes I still act wild and crazy. But right now, I really like this spot on the comfy cushion in front of the sunny window, right next to the feather toy. That way, if the feather toy misbehaves, I can whap it and make it behave!

G'day Halloween, You're looking very relaxed there on your couch. As for the feather wand, like Diamond said, why wait until it misbehaves - just whap it a few times on principle. We find that acting wild and crazy is a lot of fun when you do it late at night or very early in the morning - don't know how your humans might react though.
