The people think I am napping but actually I am listening to them talk about The Bird. They have been talking about it all day. They say they are going to cook The Bird soon. So I am listening so I can be sure to be around when it is done! MMMM!
The Food Lady cooked some other stuff today. This is a pecan tart.
She also made this pumpkin pie. No canned pie filling for her! She baked the whole thing herself.

We had The Bird today too and it was very good. Mom did not make any dessert ~ she said she would be too full to eat it. She will probably make a pumpkin spice cake with orange cream cheese frosting on Saturday though.
